Ryan Bingham is nominated with T Bone Burnett for Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media for "The Weary Kind (Theme From Crazy Heart)"; and also appears on the GRAMMY-nominated soundtrack to Crazy Heart. People have asked me what it's like to win one and I truly don't really know what to say. Obviously it's a great honor and it's gratifying to feel a sense of accomplishment. But at the end of the day when I think about going to the GRAMMYs, it is the giant egg and meeting the Roots that I'll probably remember the most. It was the adventure of just getting there and sitting five rows back from the stage when Mick Jagger tore the house down. Or when Christina Aguilera gracefully busted her a** and recovered with more class than the place could handle. Winning the award was the icing on top of all that cake.
